Obituary of Paula Petrosino

Paula Petrosino, born October 5, 1949 to Pauline (Polly Sansalone) and Nicholas Petrosino in Yonkers, NY, entered heaven on April 21, 2024 at the age of 74.

Paula will be deeply missed by her twin sister, Susan; her brother, Jim (Cathy); and her beloved nieces and nephews, Nicole (Steve), Michelle, Mark (Elizabeth) and Jim (Eilis) and their children, Emily, Brady, Scarlett, Ayline, Nicole and Dalton. She has now joined her beloved pets with whom she shared so much of her life, including her dogs, Mandy and Boo, her kitties, Louie Cat and Sarah, her birds, Huey, Dewey, Kiwi, and her parrot, Scooby Doo.

Paula was born and raised in Yonkers and then spent a lot of her life in West Harrison. She ultimately ended up in Yorktown Heights. Upon graduation from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers, she immediately went to work for General Foods Corp. (Kraft General Foods/Kraft Foods) and worked there for more than 45 years, having met her very best friends during that time.

Paula fought breast cancer and other illnesses valiantly over the past few years with her beloved niece Nicole by her side every step of the way. She loved NASCAR, something she shared with her twin sister as well. She never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh.

Paula deeply loved her family and friends, both two-legged and four-legged, and tried so hard to make sure they always knew that. Paula will be missed by all who knew her.
